I have a factory serpi star alarm and it hates me.
Poxy thing bleeps everytime i open or close a door and then again if i don;t lock it or start the engine. When i do start the engine after a period of about 30 seconds having unlocked the car it goes off.
The siren in the engine bay has a key which i assume turns off the siren, but i don't have the key - are these unique to each car or is there a master one that a zoner might have?
If i pull the cable out feeding it the alarm sounds, back up battery inside the alarm which i could allow to run down i guess...
Does anyone know how to configure the alarm so it only goes off if someone trys to steal it or is this a built in function which you have to live with?
