E36 Classic Insurance

..anyone managed to insure an E36 on a classic policy yet? Six calls made and no luck so far, looks like it's going to be another £500+ bill

I don't think that E36s come under the umbrella of classic yet due to the plentiful supply and the fact that with the exception of the M3, not yet worthy of classic status.

Finally promoted to Regular! Only took 7 years...

Hmmm - as the oldest ones are well over 20 Years old now whats the insurers reasons for not doing them ?
M cars aside I'm sure a tidy unmolested 328i Sport or even just a tidy coupe thats used as a second car should be considered for classic policies.

My 1993 318iS is on an agreed value classic policy. However, it's 20 years old, garaged and is on restricted mileage of 1500 miles a year.

Call Adrian Flux, I have my 2004 e46 330Ci Msport on a modern classic quote with limited mileage of 3,000 a year.!
