Sticky Handle on the E36 Driver side door

Hi all i have a major issue getting in and out of my e36 cab as the interrior and exterior handle are very still and i have to usually pull on them a litle extra as if i was to break them inorder for the door to open, it usually helps when i drop the window and it opens alot easier anyone have a similar experience?? and know what this could be help plzz
