Just opened a copy of BMW Car Club GB Magazine called "Straight Six"

One of the things of interest is the E34 M5. There is a free buyers guide available to any Club member by contacting the Club Office. I am interested to know why E34 M5 LE is so undervalued for concours / superb condition examples .... Why ???? I know about the £1k per damper but why are these so undervalued given their rarity, great car in its time, has all the hallmarks of a great .... RWD; LSD; High revving NA Straight Six; BMW Manual Gearbox.

So why are these so undervalued ? Surely only time before prices might rise.

Other points in the mag are members can now get discounts on brand new Michelin tyres. And apparently someone is selling a Zero Mile Unregistered Z1.

Most are w4nked out rotten scrap that need a 10k refurb to = a 5k car :(

A nice low mileage one is worth more than many E46 M3s :)

So what are the price range for E34 M5 LE ? I met one guy in the Car Clun who has TWO. A red one and green one. I think one is Concours. The other he maybe rags about not sure. Fantastic looking cars.

Worth refurbish these cars IMO to preserve them. Cars u are very hard to make money out of most of them depreciate and have big costs in upkeep. Unless you buy and sell at the right end of the car price V time curve ....

Be my guest. Any number of grotty M5s around to save.

If you need somewhere to sleep after you end up destitute, I can highly recommend camping!

Soni will never be out on the street, he has a mattress (badly soiled) in his dehumidified Chiswick lock up :)
