After spending some time fixing the oil leak I had on the misses 318, and after reading the post below this one. Can I remove what I assume is the EGR valve on this 318. I've done it on discos/defenders etc but I don't know if its possible on a petrol engine if that is what it is at all.

No reason to remove on a petrol as you dont have all the soot in the exhaust system recirculating back into the intake.
