I'd prefer a better colour myself, like red or blue but you can't be picky.

Makes the e60's look pony.

i don't know a lot about e39's (next to F all :o: ) but that does look good.

i would have an e39 over an e60 anyday.

Personally i think an E61 touring looks better than an E39 touring but what a chariot never the less!

the e39 will go down as an all time great looking design. The e60's will look dated when they become a few models out.

Sorry, E39 looks long and blobby as a wagon.

E61 does not. Looks sleek.

In sport form that has to be mega rare. There was only around 25 manual tourings left when I had mine. In fact I don't think I ever saw a manual sport touring for sale.

Brilliant all round car. Mega boot, not shabby in a straight line. I always thought it a bit wobbly round corners but it hid speed well so you were always going faster than you thought. Pretty sure I averaged 24mpg overall.

Without a LSD you cant Prat about with the manual doing ludicrous donuts and other twat action so i actually think the auto 'might' be more suited to the v8. Eeek i must be getting old.

I'd have another manual one though. !! No rear box ftw.

Personally I think the e39 looks dated in all forms now. it's getting too long in the tooth now or maybe I've just had too many of them. Still a good looking car yes but an e60 nails it for me now, especially in M Sport guise.

Come on, there are plenty or serious scummers driving E39's and have been for some time.

Yes, but there are a hell of a lot more saloons being driven by scum than tourings :D
