Hi guys,
Does anyone know if it's possible to get a service history print from BMW showing your cars history either with the v5 or Chassis No ( assuming it's BMW Serviced) ? I only wonder because I've bought a really nice white 328i cab ( e36) with matching hardtop and the car is really well looked after but came with no papers whatso ever except the v5 But when i looked in the boot theres 2 bright orange spare tyre inspection stickers from Styner so i'm thinking that it may have a good service record that's been lost ? Many thanks

You can ring up the Sytners concerned. If they have a record, you can buy a service book and they will stamp it up as far back as their records go - and that won't be very far because of the cars age. You might be lucky though.

Great, Thanks Andyboy. I must admit i was hoping that a Dealer could do a search that would show that car whatever dealer serviced it but i guess that would entail a UK BMW Dealer Computer Network as opposed to each having their own .

bmw can and will give you a "service visits" print out, with dates and dealers the car has visited, although i dont think they hold info on what was done, but of course may be different for latter than e30 cars
