I just bought an M3 mesh panel for my touring, but i think i've been duped. How can you tell if it's genuine or a rep? Does the gen one have the bmw roundel stamped in it anywhere? I also can't find any part numbers which look familiar to a regular cotswold counter whore, the only number it has on it is BM51009-6, which when entered into google comes up with all manner of replicas. They quote this number to be the 'mfg' number?
Bought it in a rush as i need it for this weekend, but checking back on the ebay add it DOES say GENUINE. Seems like a fuss over nothing but if i've paid £41.00 + p&p for a replica part with no fittings i shan't be smiling!
