They're pretty easy on the Legume once you've done the first one which is hardly rocket science. Hardest bit is getting the aux belt on and off as it's very tight in there, and the cambelt cover is tricky to get out - they made it from a weird flexible fibre material. Apart from that it's no big deal, just an old fashioned SOHC engine - it's basically the old Renault 19 and 21 engine but with common rail.
The word has spread however - have a 1.8 16v Legume belt to do next week. That looks a bit more involved with cam locks etc.
