Hi guys,
Firstly sorry I know nothing about bmws after the E30! I recently viewed a 98 E36 318ti to replace my everyday works car.
I didn't expect it to have M tech/sport bits on it from standard, main bits I can think of would be side door trims/steering wheel and gearknob and probably some other M tech bits. The seats were not leather but sport type.
Is this a common thing to have on a 318ti or just M tech extras, or perhaps it is a sport, would that be on the log book ie E30?
Just pondering if it was anything special!
Cheers

I'd personally go to a BMW Dealer with the Reg no. or Chassis no., & ask them to check the spec. of the car.

Give me the last 7 digits and I can tell you what it is. 1998 onwards Sport Ti's have M3 type bumpers, half leather spott seats, black headlining, M3 airbag wheel, sports suspension, clear indicators and 16 inch 5 spoke alloyz.

Yes they were clear, front bumper looked similar to m3 with front vent and 2 brake cooling type vents on inside of fog lights. Think alloys where around 10 spoke. Oh no sunroof!

Should say sport on the log book, or at least mine does.
Did the rear bumper have a diffuser in it? ill try and find a pic of one.

Yes bud it had a diffuser, so does anyone else have a sport and does it state it on the logbook?
Can't really see anyone making a replica of a sport 318ti to be honest.

It wasn't a sport on the log book, so I let it go. Price was to high, for a non sport.
Cheers for the help

The morsels / spec dictate the value much more than 'sport' on the log book. These cars while worthy are council chariots with virtually zero paedo interest. What spec was it and how much ?

i doubt they would. the saxo only owed me £410 off ebay so no real loss i could easily make my money back breaking it if i wanted.
