I got a few questions A and B which I am hoping someone can help me out with ?

A
When you bought a car and you know all the history but there are a couple of paperwork you would like in the service history will BMW Dealers provide this for me :-) ?
In particular I would like a copy of
the original sales invoice from the original BMW Dealer that sold this .... in my case BMW ISSD ?

Was previously sold as a BMW Approved Used Car by a BMW Dealer Cotswold Gloucester and would like a copy of the paperwork of any prep work they did and checks ?

Will the Dealers usually provide this or will they get tight right up their own arse when it is only a perfect legitimate request ?

B
The original BMW Dealer that sold my car was Sales Dealer 10561.
This I understand is BMW International and Specialist Sales Division. They are owned by BMW UK and now have a Westminster showroom. My other question was in 2006 was BMW ISSD operating within the BMW Park Lane Dealership ?

I wanna get some period number plates made up reflecting 2006 so was interested.

Thank you :-)

I rang up Cotswold Gloucester today the guy said first he give me a screen dump of dates and mileages .... Then I said I don't need all of that just whatever you got up until the first BMW Oil Service .... Which should not be much paperwork .... He said he scan it in and email it .... Think he might have had to check with his colleague but I haven't received anything :-(.

Btw do you know the answer to question B :-) ?

I rang up BMW Park Lane Battersea the Service Advisor who I have used was unable to supply any paperwork and said he did not have anything ? He did supply me BMW Warranty Paperwork though on their system in the post for this year :-).

Conversely had a MOT today at BMW Berry Chiswick and their Service Advisor said yes Dealers should provide copies of Sales Invoices or BMW Approved Used Car Checks paperwork if a customer requested it as long as they blank out the customer details ?

Sorry I am talking about a M3 CS Coupe Manual Gearbox.

As far as I can tell the very last one registered by BMW UK based on the information they gave me.

2006 was the year of production and the year of registration.

I personally think having an Original Sales Invoice is just an extra cool thing for the Service History.

I know some people include them when they sell their road cars and some do not.

Yes I have that and a copy of all the warranty work ever done when I went in a BMW Dealer. But am after a copy of the original sales invoice or paperwork whatever comes with ?

I have the BMW Approved Used Car Booklet which came with it but would like a copy of the paperwork they did regarding prep for the BMW Approved Used Car Sale which would be nice addition to the Service History file :-) ?
