Ello chaps,
Currently speccing out my new e30 build which i'll start in the new year, have a few questions however.
Thinking of dropping a m30b35 in, I know m50/m52 are are more modern engine, but I just love those old 6 pots.!
Question; What 5 speed manual box would best suit the m30b35? Also what prop shaft would I need to be compatible with an e30 LSD?
Cheers
new e30 build question...

take a look in the M30 Engines section, theres loads about it in there and lots of build threads to learn from. M30b35 engines are a special breed, although they do have their haters.

Was reading lots before, mountains of info in there....
I think it's probably best to stick with the manual gearbox the m30 comes with and just refurb the clutch/flywheel and tidy the engine up, refurb injectors, degrease, paint and anything else it needs to sweeten it up.

Does anyone know if... the standard differential and 5 speed manual box from a 325i will hold up to the power of an m30b35 ?
