e36 heater problem

had a new radiator fitted to my car and now the heaters dont turn off.to b honest nothing happens they are just costantly blowing air into the cabin what could this be.

Do you mean the fans are constantly blowing no matter what the setting, or that only hot air comes into the cabin so no matter where you have the temperature setting you get hot air?
If its the former it's almost certainly the final stage resistor ( often called hedgehog resistor because of the cooling spikes on it ) which is burried behind the glovebox.
If its the later and te air is always hit, but you can still control the fan speed it is almost certainly the heater valve which is a solenoid to allow flow through the heater matrix and is located on the bulkhead in the engine bay on the passenger side.
If you have normal manual control heaters you'll need the single solenoid version. If you have the dual zone climate control you'll need the twin solenoid version.
Both are probably extortionate from the dealers, but plentiful secondhand on eBay.

to be honest its an absolut nuisance im gonna get it fixed as soon as possible. i also hit a central reservation the other morning half asleep and something is knocking when i go over speed humps and when i brake im gettimg vibration through the steering wheel
more expense,otherwise ive had 2 years trouble free motoring
