Stupid question I know, but i'm servicing my friend's E60 (2004) 530D and the fuel range is on zero. I'm not insured to go and fuel it. Is there a 'grace' range ?! Or will it literally cut out now ?!

Thanks

Zero means you are on fumes. If he keeps running it empty like that, he will soon start paying for it .!

I drove a 118d another 30miles after it showed zero miles on the range. And it didnt show no signs of coughing or giving up. Although it was careful driving.
