Not sure if this is what they go for, but seems mighty cheap with the alpina interior:-

How much would you get for an E39 Alpina interior?!

My dad had one of these...was quite fast. Heavy car though.

these things love a headgasket but once fixed they are a seriously epic chariot but 8mpg is no fun at all :(

the high miles would put me off this one..

It's cheap, until you have to repair it. Being based on an E39 540i, that will mean regularly. They're nice, but you require deep pockets to run it properly.

I followed one of these a few weeks ago, proper nice chariot and sounded great. 8)

Those front seats are actually the high end comfort spec. one of the most comfotable seats I've ever sat in. They are not your normal standard e39 seat.

Barry had them in a recent 528i now owned by Ste30.

They are more suportive than they look.

That is my friend Alistair's old car, I gave it a small detail a few years ago, he's upgraded to a B10 V8 touring with double glazing now. :cool:
