can any one point me to someone in the uk who sells these as i can only find comanys in the usa who sell them.
and iam looking for a metal impellor water pump for the same engine is there a preferd one to use or any makes to steer clear off?....

KWP metal impellor pump seems decent and well enough thought of. I got mine from ECP.

I put Matt (Meatballs82)at ECP on the case of sourcing alloy stat. housings a couple of months ago, but I don't think he had any luck yet.
They were standard fitment to early M50s, but only the plastic version is supplied as a replacement by BMW, although they still sell the gasket.

ok thanks,been looking around the scrappys no luck,looks like i will end up just ordering one from the states,as iam looking at replaceing these parts for a peice of mind motoring as you do rarther than wait for them to fail!
