Depends what car you want to run it into, pre 1995 BMWs with ADS interface they probably won't work, post '95 with OBDI or OBDII they should run fine.

my mates a bmw call out man, if the pc crashes and they do with the DIS AND TIS software it can fook your ECU. He only uses old IBM'S with the old serial ports not USB
