This is one for the BMW Tech's

My 39 has recently developed a small vibration through the brake pedal when braking hard.

The car pulls up straight but there is an annoying movement in the pedal.

It was noted on the MOT that the rear disks wear past there best.

The rears are scored and look past there best. The fronts look in good nick.

There is no vibration under light braking which leads me to think that the rears are the culprit.

Is there any other braking gremlins with these?

I used to run a 34 a long time ago and no matter what bush/disks I changed I could not get rid of the shimmy at 55mph.

Any idea's

Thanks

Scott.

Are you sure it's the disks that make it vibrate? It's not uncomon with 39's to have some play in the wishbone's etc.
