Correct old grade and level?
The injectors are very noisy on these and have a substantial engine cover with sound insulation, is it intact and seated correctly?
Or Possible HVA's and worn cams.
Would need to hear it really.

Not sure on oil grade its only been in the dealer network and level is fine. Have not checked the sound insulation but sounds like a mechanical problem.
Sounds exactly like this

That sounds like a shagged HVA (hydrolic valve adjuster) or more commonly known as a lifter.
If the engine has been run low on oil it can damage them.

Best way to see if it is injectors normal noise, with bonnet up and warm engine rev it up to approx 4000rpm and let off, on overrun the injectors will shut off and cut back in about 1700rpm.
Or it could be HVA's as bss325i said
