Hello Chaps
Do any of you run one of the above oil burners?
I'm lucky enough to have a company car albeit a ford focus. I have the option of opting out of our company car scheme and have been thinking about a 320d touring.
What do the BMW fitters on the zone think of these?
There is the obvious scare stories of blown turbo's, DMF failure.
Has anyone any experience of these turds and real life mpg capabilities.

I know it's not the diesel but I have the mispleasure of having a petrol Sport/M-Tech 318 this weekend. All I can say is it's an absolutely terrible car, obviously it's gutless but the suspension is terrible, the gearbox is terrible, the seats are terrible, the road noise is terrible, the pedals are all wrong for my liking (the accelerator is too far forward from the brake) and it gives me a sore head to drive it. It's a shame because it's a nice looking car but I'd far rather be in a Mondeo
.
Maybe a non Sport spec would be nicer though.
A few mates have 318/320ds and I can't say any of them have had any problems if that helps I guess!
