..........remapped :P

After a lengthy thought process and the urge not to spend any money, I buckled and had the E46 remapped last week 8)

The car in question was -

I bought this new in 2004 and I was very reluctant to mess around with it, it's maintained/serviced regardless of mileage. It's just clicked over 45k and is spotless so I had to think long and hard about modding the D!

After a 500 mile round trip with the Yorkshire Stripper down to Redneck county, I can report that this thing is a flyer 8O :P

The torque is superb and pulls like a train, MPG is supposed to be good but rocketing it to 100 in a few seconds from 50 will dent the mpg until the newness wears thin :o:

So far I'm happy

they're good but an e30 325i will still outdrag one.

Demlotcrew took his 320D with all its bits done to it up santa pod and did like a 16-17 second 1/4 mile in it. I know 1/4 mile times aren't what dervs are all about but shows the torque only takes them so far.

remapped 330d's are just epic, mental. A 320d doesn't even register on the radar compared

This isn't mean to p!ss on your fire kieran because 45mpg isn't to be sniffed at.
