Got a mate with an x reg E46 330D touring and he's got it up for sale and tempted to make him an offer.
What are the common faults and fixes with these?

high pressure pumps under the passenger floor wrap and stop them from starting, AFM's go, cam sensors, manifolds crack, early ones had trouble with the injectors.

plus the usual e46 broken springs, shot suspension bushes, knackered final stage heater resistor, crap electric windows.

ive got an 04 330d, ive only had one of those problems being a sticky leccy window
dont think an x reg will have the swirl flaps unless its an auto??

all the 2 and 3's have the flaps regardless of being manual or auto
