I sourced 5 S50B30 slugs (I actually got the full bottom end) for peanuts 2 years ago, From over there. The 6th one had gone through the block.
I put a wanted add up, I explained what I was upto, that I wouldn't mess anyone around and I was an active member on here. In the main I got a load of chew and time wasters. The bloke I delbt with was sound though.
I've not really been back since.

looks like my account has gone as well odd thing is I’m sure I’ve been a member on there for well over 8 months.
Have asked for a new account but still waiting for it to be given the nod.
Think this is going to do the forum quite a bit of damage but the only other option really is bimmer forum and I refuse to use a forum about BMW's with the word Bimmer in the title.
Can you imagine how many rude boys and bruv's must use that site, i was on it for a very short time and never went back.

Ive only been back once since the outage.
A huge number of detailed posts I made have been lost, and I can't be arsed going back.
It took a while to get into, but I'd become quite a regular poster and it was on my frequent visit list, but it was always pretty flakey, but knowing there's no backup why should I bother tryin to be a part of it if it could all just vanish at any time.

They got an E30 section over there now, whats the point of that when they can just come here.

I wonder how many threads will mention "If you check out the e30 zone all the info is on there". I suppose e36 guys who buy e30's feel more at home asking them questions than joining up on a new forum
