How hair raisingly would you have to drive to make the most of an s50 in a defender? Why didn't they use an m60/2? Surely that would have passed SA emissions?

Does seam a bit of an oddball, would have thought they would have used a differant cam cover? Or maybe they did make a Land Rover badges cover too.

Also wonder what gearbox It runs, guess it must have a custom bell housing.

When BMW owned rover they were banging BMW roundels on loads of parts! Ive noticed a lot of the Rover electrical plugs had the roundels put on them
