REar shocks

Do you know if the rear shocks for my 318 Ti compact 1999 sport, are the same as any e30 ones having nearly the same back end ?

They are interchangeable.. Not necessarily damped the same.

Can't you get hold of the correct shocks Mart?

A quick check on RealOEM reveals the part number for yours with the sports suspension is
33521091630

The E30 318is part is 33521135888 made by Boge/Sachs here

Like Jhonno says, they will fit, but their damping characteristics could be different as the weight over the rear end will be different.

I was just wondering if any were the same with the back end being similar thats all, and maybe looking for a cheap deal as well.lol
