hi guys got given this ecu along with my m50 engine plus my ecu , ive done a little google and ebay and i says its an e34 525 ecu i believe from a vanos engine its a bosch DME 1744698
any ideas if this is right and if its worth me sticking a price for sale on it ?

Sounds right to me, according to this list:

ECUs can sell for anything from £10 upwards.

That wont be starting an engine without the matching EWS module and key chip!

It isn't like unlocking a mobile phone mate, it is a time consuming and fiddly process which I am sure will carry the relevant price from Dan. I am sure that whatever Dan's prices are it is also fair for the work that entails an EWS delete service

oh yeah course not takes some skills fella , was just sayin as if it was i was goin to see if dan wanted it for a few quid on top of postage i have no use for it im m50 :)
