Soon to be getting rid of my compact the tax and test run out at the end of this month, and can't be arsed to re MOT it again in case it needs a few quid spending on it.

Engine is also a bit ropey makes a bit of a ticking sound and a few other funny noises but it still runs and gets me to and from work everyday

What do people think it would be worth scrap value??

or even if anyone wants to make me an offer on it while it still has tax & test i'm all ears.

Body work wise its fine, although the paint is a bit scabby in places nice & clean inside as well.

Making way for an E36 touring :D

Think most breakers pay between £100 - £150 for a complete car if you drive it in.

i scrapped a gutted out alfa romeo 147 yesterday, just the bodyshell all body panels, cylinder head gearbox etc all stripped, and interior, took the wheels off, i got £140 - it weighed in at 930 kg

a compact would come in at around 1200kg, so your looking at around £200 odd

circa150-170 per tonne and its a fraction over a tonne maybe 1100-1200, some yards will pay 5-8 quid per wheel on the car (off of the total weight).

Others will only buy them separately if you remove the tyres @ about 1000 per tonne which works out 7-15 quid per wheel depending on the size.

If it has an original cat on it which is about35-50 quid (the 6 pot ones are 110 quid)

All in all about 200, 250 if your lucky!
