523i Road trip

My Mrs just been visiting so I splashed out a bit and booked us into a posh hotel on the other side of the UAE where it's slightly cooler. I couldn't turn up there in my crappy old banger of course and the journey just wouldn't have been enjoyable so I rented a 2009 523i.

I have to say I absolutely loved the car!! The newest motor I've ever owned was a 1996 rover and although I've driven quite a few newer cars I've never had the pleasure of having one like this for even a few days.

Not the quickest barge in the world it has to be said, but veeeerrrry smooth and refined with all the extras. Had a bit of a giggle really. Anyway, here's a couple of snaps I took along the way.
