hi all

mum has a L reg 320i coupe e36, recently her speedo/rev etc started playing up. Driving along all clocks would drop to zero for fdew mins then start working again. But now the on board computer has started to play up, if you set the time and date then turn the car off and back on the time will be reset. also the speedo etc are completely dead BUT the digital odometer display is saying CODE.

Any ideas anyone???

At a guess I'd say SI batteries are cooked but that wouldn't explain the OBC problem.
