Looks nice but what about the mileage? Too good to be true?

apparently owned by various members of two families, loads of history too. My E30 had 84K on it with mint seat bolsters though :? Unfortunately I don't have time to get over there before it finishes :cheese:

Yes, it looks like to be in a lovely original condition but:

Smallest engine
Auto box <---major failing especially with the small engine
Dubious colour
Poor spec - not even a rev counter!

I'm a lazy (auto box), London dwelling (average traffic speed 6mph), poverty spec loving (my last E30 didn't have a radio) freak though so all those negs come up as plusses for me, might make resale a bit iffy though you're right :o

Lower half repaint.

Hiding a multitude of P40 and fibre glass?

You spotted what I spotted. I would not expect that kind of seat wear with that kind of mileage :?

TBH, E21's were really bad for seat wear, something that was addressed with the E30.

I'm also lazy (325i auto) and London dwelling but I genuinely believe an auto on that car will spoil it - no power, poor economy. Imvho, you need at last 2 litres for an auto.

Have a manual box on it, and a boggo 316 makes sense.
