From memory the 1502 was missing some of the external and internal trim parts...
Other than that all the body panels are the same and the seats and dashboard are the same.
Not sure about suspension and brakes, but they would be interchangeable...albeit (possibly) of different spec.
The Tii has some unique parts and the 1502 was never offered with the round rear light clusters.

1502 and 2002 share to my knowledge brakes and suspension other than tii models . 1502 didnt comwith the waste line chrome around the car and new 1502 panels therefore dont come with holes for the trim clips. various other minor differences alough ive found everything interchanges regardless on both my cars

I think the 1502 has different brakes , much less power so can't be made to perform without an engine swop , may not have anti-roll bar but can't remember and no chrome waist trim. Basically don't bother unless you for some reason want a 1502 or just want the body to drop say a 325i six pot into it .

This is a bit like E30 320 v 325.
Most parts are the same with a few exceptions like engine internals, sway bars, brakes and some trim items.
Plenty of reasonably priced new parts available for all '02s. Take a look at these sites:
www.jaymic.com (UK 2002 specialists, very helpful)
www.wallothnesch.com (German based, good prices and huge range)
Both are very good with reasonable postage
