Have just realised boyhood ambition and purchased a 635Csi. She is metallic black, 3 owners, full service history and all documents present. It is a Highline version 1988 and only done a certified 66,000 miles. Has grey leather and all electrics and air con works.
She will look lovely alongside my 1991 325i convertible 3 owners and 45,000 miles, full service history, which is also metallic black with black leather.
Guess what, my daily drive is an E92 coupe 335d (remapped)and like the other two is metallic black with coral red leather.
I am in heaven about all three in my 'collection' will post up some pictures of them together as soon as possible.
Not another BMW !!

335d with the remapping it has approx. 360 bhp and just over 700 nm of torque. Not sure of 0 - 60 mph but is sub 5 secs. Will easily keep up with M3. On some private roads it clocked 150 mph at 3750 rpm, at that point i was running out of road and courage. It has steptronic gear shift and in 'manual/sport mode' traction control light comes on as you accelerate at 80 mph...a bit disconcerting.
Regarding fuel consumption this car does alot of motorway miles, infact it spends all its life on motorways and regularly returns 44 -45 mpg at a constant 80/85mph. Lovely car !!
The 325i convertible and 635CSi are from a different era and I value them for different qualities, but the 335d is just something different.
