8K Rev Gauge???

now thes54 conversion is up andrunning im looking for some final finishing touches.

One of them being a rev gauge that will extend to 8k.
I have a 8k backround image but the question is will the pin go that far????

if not is there a way of getting it to without m3 clocks?

I took an E34 535i up to 7500+ rpm, so yes, I reckon it should stretch to 8,000 rpm.

Can you stick a 0-8k face on a normal tacho?

Will it be accurate? No
