How easy is it to sort out a noisey Vanos on an m50/m52 and what does it actually do ?

Dunno how easy they are to mess about with, heard they can be a terror, but there's a bloke called Mr Vanos in Darlington that can overhaul and refurb them if that is of any use. :)

i fitted one of Dans seals to my vanos when it got lazy and it made a real difference to how the car drives. my wasn't noisy it just didn't work all the time .
