how do tall drivers get on with the e36 and compact over long drives? and do they have the same amount of leg room? Is it my imagination or are they less roomy than an e30?

I am 6'4 and get on fine with my Compact.. Wouldn't like to be sat behind me though, mind you I don't think I would in many cars..

I am 6 foot tall and had a dirty6 compact, it was never a problem for me, only a problem for those who were sat behind me!

Finally promoted to Regular! Only took 7 years...

Im six foot and plenty of kilos and I must say the sports seats in my Ti are far superior to the ones I have in the E30.
Once again I could not sit in the back but being the driver and having no consideration for anyone else what the hell !!
Buy a 7 series if you want others to be moan free.
Mart.
My grandson fits in the back OK !

Front room in a compact is the same as any other e36, in fact the brochures show the compact as having more headroom than the saloon!
There's definately not as much rear leg room in a compact though.

I think the worst seats for leg room are vadars, plenty have brackets made to position them further back

it depends what youre comparing it to tbh, my e36 seems to have loads more room behind me than my e30 although iirc the official measurements only show the e36 as having one inch more rear leg room
