Folks, I'm thinking about getting the E46 converted to LPG. Partly becuase it's a good motorway car and partly because it has a good big spare wheel well. Does anyone have recommendations as to what type of kit would be best for a M54B30? I don't want to lose any power and her ladyship will demand 100% reliability or the whole car will be sold (she gives cars one chance before she never trusts them again).

I've seen a conversion thread using Prins HERE which is encouraging, although the price looked a bit steep!

Is that the best or is there anything else out there?
Cheers :)

I have a M50B25 running on a Prins VSI kit, and certainly haven't had any reliability problems.
There was a problem with the gasket in early vaporisers, but that was cured with a slight redesign.
Having said that, I haven't had any problems with another M50B25 running on a BRC kit either.

Thanks folks. If you could get these things fitted on a drive in/out basis for £1k or less I reckon they'd have taken off a lot more quickly :(

Our good friends at the LPGA ensured that it didn't happen in the UK, courtesy of their inward looking, protectionism, and determination to preserve their Golden Goose!
