Looks dull though, possibly due to the colour.
Give me an E34 M5 or E30 M3 over that any day.

I like it lots. A lot better looking than the E60 i think.
But the back doesn't do it for me. Nothing M about it and the exhausts look too small. I think the E39/E46 style are the best.

i think it looks bland like all the other new cars it'll be undoubtedly fantastic to own drive etc and will annihilate every car i've ever owned on every level. i guess this just shows how sadly i am stuck in the past with the way cars look and feel. I'd have an e34 before that too.

Great looking car. It'll be lots of money, do speeds you're increasingly unlikely to get away with, will use the 130 quids worth of fuel in the tank in about 350 miles and will lose 50% of it's value in about 18 months.
But if you have the money............

I really dont like the way BMW's designs are going! Something like an "M" car should look raw and ready to rip anything to shreds..
That looks like an executive saloon..ready to take a salesman up and down the motorways..
Boooooorriinnggg!!

Boring styling, im worried at the route bmw are taking with the new 5 series. The e60 M5 shocked me at first but i think they look stunning now, this on the other hand looks like a sales rep special and cant see it growing on anyone. I can see it changing a bit before its launched as that arse end needs a make over for sure and they cant get away with fitting them old style alloys i hope. The e34 is the best shape 5 ever imo closely followed by the e39.

not enough to make it look special, looks like the other 5 series apart from the exhausts and side vents. E34 M5 anyday.

Yeah but is'n that what the E34 M5 was like. The E34 M5 barely looked that different from the standard car.m8782538 wrote:not enough to make it look special, looks like the other 5 series apart from the exhausts and side vents. E34 M5 anyday.

All M5's only have subtle differences from standard models.Blitz wrote:Yeah but is'n that what the E34 M5 was like. They are meant to be discreet, "wolf in sheeps clothing" type cars.
