im not a fan of e36's, id happily nick the engine out of this.
E30's have character by the bucket load ,
which is how i rationalise eveything, o more rust .... o more character

The Internet - It has proven to be worthless, and is nothing but a repository for perverts.

I don't understand what's so special about this
Might want to get it checked for radiation first, too

At least the shell should be clean. I've imported a few cars over the years and they've all been cleaner then expected. The last car was an oldish (1990) Porsche and when we stripped it, it had hardly any rust.

You wouldn't pull the engine out of that to power some rusty patched up old E30. Well, not unless you were stupid of course but that's not an uncommon affliction.
I had a Jap import E36 a couple of years ago to break (bad front ender) and it was utterly, utterly mint. The climate there is perfect for cars and they don't salt the roads. It was literally like a 1 year old car where you could just wipe the dust off it underneath to reveal factory paint - even on the diff.
If you're serious Blitz, I'd go for it. It won't be a lot of money either. It'll have the Jatco automatic gearbox as well.

The thing is it will be hard for me to insure because of my age.
The car is up for £440 and then to get it on the boat Including the cost of the car will be £760 it said. Its listed on clearence. It's Quite cheap.

Presumably you'll have to add around £500 for shipping and then +20% on the whole for VAT once it lands in the UK.

Why would you want a LHD E36? unless your going to break it?

You won't have to pay import duty (which is usually 10%) as the car originated from Europe :)

LHD cars are associated with being more wealthy and are loved by certain mafia types.
