im in 2 minds about my next car i fancy a 318iS but i do like the look of the e21's as does the wife strangely enough. anyone got any tips on them whats the one to go for ? all that kind of stuff

This will kill the E21 dead, even worse than the E30.
323i is the one to go for, but they are rare. My dad a 320A (carb) years ago (Polaris Silver, M Tech go faster stripes), very decent runner. No genuine mechanical issues but eventually the rust got the better of it.
