clever engineering but at its zenith motorsport does become obscene to my eyes at least.

Don't like it. A BMW drag car should have a BMW derived engine. Silohette cars should also keep more body proportions.
As for the gold plating. Just makes it a pointless ornamnet.

did any one read the notes or just look at the pics
the last one they built was "tarted up" and used. this will probably get used to
there is guy in the states using an s50b32, turbo'd in an e36 body for drag racing. its lookinig at well over 1500bhp and should be good for an 8 sec 1/4 mile
