I am the proud owner of an immaculate 'J' reg 325i convertible, but have just traded in my daily drive a 330d MSport saloon with 175k on the clock, had this car for 6 years, she was regularly serviced and never missed a beat, still had original battery and exhaust, drove beautifully and felt pretty powerful 'til now.
Have replaced her with an '07 335d SE coupe, she is metallic black with red leather and 19 inch wheels. Took her to More - BHP (Crewe, contact Jason) and had the engine remapped and she is now putting out in excess of 350bhp and 700 nm of torque. To say the least the performance is blistering and must easily be approaching that of an M3. In sport mode on the auto box using kick down you are just pinned to your seat and the acceleration just goes on and on...the limiting factor every time is you just run out of road. 0-60 is well below 6sec and 100mph is only a fraction longer. This is the only car I have had where the traction control light comes on when you hit the kickdown at 50 - 60 mph.....absolutely awesome. The best car I have ever had... and on a 180 mile journey on the motorway at a steady 70 -75 mph she returned 47 mpg...bloody marvellous.

just think how good it would be if it was closer to 1 ton rather than 1.5-1.7!
