Hi peeps.
Got an e36 compact 318is and every now and again there is a massve lack of power suddenly sometimes combined with a backfire.
There's a sensor on the side of the throttle body thats held in with 2 screws which looks like its been off already.
Can anyone give me any common faults with these?

Not sure, haven't really tried anything yet.
Are they like the e30 m20 air mass meters where you can take the top off and adjust them?
The car in question also suffered a very still throttle pedal after it died which is weird.
Bump as well for this thread, anymore ideas appreciated
