Was trying to talk my platonic bird mate into buying a 1 series instead of a mini - an E30 was out of the question - when she questioned whether they were in her price range. Then she said hadn't they just updated it? No I don't think so I said. Then what should I see but a five door - this was in Nimes, France last week - with a new 5 series style bonnet and generally more rounded styling - oh I guess they have restyled it, I thought.

Except there is no restyle scheduled till 2011!

I just missed a foopin spy shot, I swear I wasn't dreaming or on drugs and this thing was there plain as day.

The new x5 on the other hand ... there's one on my way to work with ski rack on the roof, 4.8i, black alloys, looks awesome :cool:
