I am out i hope tomorrow night doing a road rally, tonight i went out to try the car and the gears went funny.
I can get [ just ] reverse, 3rd and 5th, not 2nd or 4th. I dont know if i can get first very hard to get reverse. The movement in the stick is massive now. The linkage is ok.
Is this a common problem on this car? I was a 1600 and i fitted a m42 to the 1600 box.
It was slow going from first to second, but i put that down to it having a 5.0:1 CW&P and me reving to to the max in first.
any ideas please?
