Got a strange one here....

Garage MOT'd the other halfs e36, failed on minor stuff, one was the fog/driving rear lights were all over the place, sorted that with the correct pinned bulb for the brakes, easy. Then garage went to move the car and it won't turn over, all elecs work, checked fuses etc. The garage tried to boost start it but nothing. Then next door, garage too, he said that sometimes messing with the bulbs can do this.......but he had no answer to fix it....great.

So car is all ready for retest but won't turn over....any ideas?

Thanks all, Mark.

Has the garage checked for 12v at the starter solenoid? another thing, is it manual or auto?
if its an auto the park switch may have become faulty. :)

Manual. Couldn't find the fuse for the starter anywhere on the list under the fuse box.

They'll check that tomorrow, will give the starter a twatting with a hammer also.

I worked on the car all morning, sorted loads of bits, they moved it once and broke it,
