e36 compact question.....

hi all.e36 with a majour whistle breather pipe is blocked some where, does anyone know where the crank case breather pipe is on theses and also what other breather pipes there is that could cause this... many thanks

M43 engine ??
Breather is routed from the back of the rocker box to the intake via the "zyclon valve", that is the random round disc looking thing on the underside of the intake @ the back.
does it make odd noises when switched off ? does it gurgle if you pull the dipstick out when running?
M44 similar setup, Zyclon jobbie even more inaccessible through
new pipe and valve is less than £40, pop some new parts on there dude.
