Need sum advice please chaps on gearbox oil for the e46 auto.
Does anyone know the correct spec oil?
Is this only available from BMW?

Contact BMW direct - most have a very expensive fully synthetic oil rather than old Dexron ATF.

Change the filter as well if you're doing an oil change. I'll be having this done on my E46 318ci soon. I don't believe in all this "sealed for life" b0ll0cks!
