Found this ad on eBay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BILSTEIN ... ccessories

Seems too good to be true - can buy a set of 4 shocks for less than half the price of my local dealer...even including freight.
Anyone know the seller or had dealings with them?

feedback of one? I'd say you're taking a chance there but if you use Paypal you've a decent chance of getting your money back....

eBay buyer protection is limited if the seller has low feedbacks. I think I will wait to see if they get some positive comments. Half price is very inviting though

They are ID verified on ebay and have over 5,000 items listed. Doesn't look like the work of a scammer necessarily. My experience of ebay scammers is either one or a handful of items listed. PayPal will protect you as well.

If you have limited sales experience paypal now hold any payments until the buyer leaves feedback, 28 days have passed, or if you provide tracking information that states the item has been delivered
So I wouldnt have any qualms about buying these
