Hi there Guys I was Wondering if any 1 of you zoners could offer some helpful advice.

Rite....I have a good friend with a bmw e36 1.8 cab. It is totally standard and we are both spanner friendly hence we are up for anything challenging. He has just purchased a set of coilovers for his car.

My question is are there any informative picture installation guides of this out here on the World Wide Web if so can you please send me the link?

On a scale of 1 to 10 how difficult is this job to do? 1 being the easiest and 10 being the hardest?

Aprox how long will this take to do for your average spanner friendly guy?

All help is appreciated
Regards
Jon

if you think you would be changing it back to normal every again ,go buy a new set of top mounts and leave your unit in one piece

new front top mounts will make the job even easier so well worth getting some if the kit doesnt come with any. no need to muck about with spring compressors etc then, just bolt off, bolt on. piece of cake tbh.

3 bolts hold top mount to shell, 3 bolts hold strut to hub. undo the lot, remove, refit new one. jack it so both front wheels of whatever end youre working on are off the ground at the same time so youre not fighting against the anti roll bar.
cheers,

harry
