Was watching Massive Engines on Quest channel yesterday and was amazed to hear that BMW used the M10 engine in early 80s F1 cars and with mega turbocharging produced around 1200bhp.
Well im sure thats the figure he quoted .. Amazing !!

Hope for all those 316's yet then !!!

Not an m10 but a m12 and it only ran one lap and run on chemical rather than fuel
made about 700 in race trim

was based on a M10 production block though.

just also noticed they have put the engine in the wrong way!! when viewed from this side the rear wheels should be to the right!! :roll:
